Read what Simon & Julie had to say about their UK campervan hire holiday

Question: How do you have a short break camping holiday in Northern Britain if you live in the South, and don’t want to endure two days on the English motorway system.

Answer: Fly to Newcastle Airport where you will be met by Kevin and Susan and introduced to one of their Camper vans. Within a short time you will be experiencing the light traffic, the scenic roads and the easily driven van.  We chose to spend two days in the Lake District and two days on the Northumberland coast, both at excellent campsites recommended by Susan.

If you go in March (like us) make sure you get electricity at the sites, as you will probably need the efficient little electric heater in the van. Everything worked well, and we had a very relaxing break. At the end you hand the van back to Kevin at the Airport, get on your plane and fly south with your memories. If it is a fine day you can have fun spotting the queues on the motorways!

Highly recommended – thank you Kevin, Susan and Gocampervan!  Simon and Julie (Sussex)  For more of our guest reviews please Click here
